In the financial world of today, lots of folks want to be able to invest at least some money into the stock market, but they just don’t know how to go about doing it. So, how about I give you some information about a particular kind of little known stock called penny stocks that are not traded on the large stock market exchanges, so you may not have heard about them.

In short, penny stocks are stocks that are essentially deemed to be “high risk” and because of that status, there is not a lot of interest from potential buyers, forcing the price of the stock to stay very low. This low price of stock, usually under five dollars a share, is what gives these stocks their name, and is usually for a small company, hence why there isn’t a lot of buyer interest. However, don’t allow yourself to be fooled into simply forgetting these stocks because these stocks can jump up dramatically by up to 400%!! Of course that is the risk with these stocks, is that they can change very quickly by leaps and bounds, but if you make the right picks, you can see quite a nice return on your initial investment.
